Hofheinz & Co becomes RICO REGO GmbH, Haan

Introduction of electronic controllers and conversion of the entire machine range

Acquisition by KÖBO GmbH & Co. KG; establishment of RMT REGO Maschinentechnologie GmbH and acquisition of the REGO production line

Move to proprietary buildings in Haan

Launch of an in-house bread slicer
1998
Acquisition of Herlitzius Schneide Technologie GmbH (oldest bread slicer manufacturer in Germany, established in 1913)

Expansion of export business (including Austria, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland)

Merger of RMT REGO Maschinentechnologie GmbH and Herlitzius Schneidetechnologie GmbH to form REGO HERLITZIUS GmbH
